Current Skincare Faves!

I generally prefer homemade face packs, besides being economical I find whipping up those ingredients in my kitchen very enjoyable, but then again I’m a huge skincare junkie who loves to sample different things every once in a while.

I recently started using three new products on my face and because they deliver tremendous results, I’m sharing them with you.

It’s Jamhuri Day! Ain’t nobody got time for a wordy post, I’ll keep it short and sweet by reviewing each product, that way it’s less time consuming for me to write and fun for you to read!

Let’s get right into it, shall we?
Beautisa Papaya Peel Off Mask
Product Description:
Beautisa Natural Peel Off Mask Papaya has naturally astringent affect, which reduces oiliness, tightens pores and makes foundation glide on. This clarifying mask gently peels away impurities while Papaya leaves skin smooth and silky.
Direction For Use:
After cleansing the face, apply evenly onto the face and neck, avoiding the eyes and zones. Leave on for fifteen minutes ten simply peel off.
Benefits:
– Makes skin clear and fresh.
– Peels away blemishes to leave a healthy, glowing skin.
– Removes impurities and dead tissues.
– Helps to reduce pimples.
– Gives skin softness, firmness and radiance.
– Suits all skin types.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Alcohol Denat, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol, Panthenol, Arctotaphylos Uva Ursi Leaf Extract, Sodium Lactate, Chamomilla, Recutita Extract, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, PPG-1-PEG-9 Lauryl Glycol Ether, Citral, CI 16185.

My Take On This Product:

I love it’s mild papaya scent! Products with strong fragrance are not my cup of tea.

At the moment, I’m battling with whiteheads on my nose and chin, I read somewhere that they should clear up on their own once my pregnancy hormones leave my system, anyway, right after using this particular peel off mask I could see some major improvement on the appearance of my skin, the whiteheads significantly reduced, it brightened up my skin and removed all the dullness, my face looked clear and fresh.

I usually apply the mask all over my face in a thick layer, If I don’t it doesn’t do such a good job, I then leave it to dry which usually takes 10 to15 minutes. I make sure the mask doesn’t touch my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.

This mask can be fairly painful to remove, but it’s nothing you can’t stand, when it’s dry, peel from the bottom and pull upwards as it helps to pull dead skin/blackheads/whiteheads/tiny hairs out of your pores. After peeling it off, wash your skin with warm water.

Overall, I like this peel off mask as it gives amazing results, I would also recommend it to anyone whose skin is prone to breakouts.
